Sharon "Sherry" Lasko, 68, of Palmer Twp, passed away on January 25, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospice House after a short battle with cancer. She was born on May 11, 1953 in Bethlehem, PA and was the daughter of the late Walter and Doris (Eddinger) Jenny.
Sharon was the wife of Robert Lasko, Jr. for 45 years, who passed away in 2020. She was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Sharon was employed by several manufacturing and production companies throughout the decades, including Durkee's, Victoria Vogue, and Crayola, and was most recently a direct care worker for the past 20 years.
She had the greatest laugh that lit up the room and the spirits of others. Sharon loved music, especially the tunes of Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash. She also enjoyed her nightly walks with her yellow lab, Gretta, gardening, painting, drawing, and doodling faces on the newspaper and the back of junk mail. Most of all, she loved her family and friends with her whole heart and will be greatly missed by all.
Sharon is survived by her two children, a daughter, Lisa Lasko, and a son, Daniel Lasko and his wife Jessica, two grandsons, Luke and Ben, a brother Donald Jenny, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton (Palmer Twp.), PA 18045. Memorial services will be announced at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers and food, Sharon requests donations to the Semper Fi & America's Fund at www.TheFund.org to support wounded, ill and injured veterans.
