Sharon M. Pysher

December 19, 1959 — December 26, 2025

Easton

Sharon Marie (Pappas) Pysher, 66, of Easton, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus. Sharon fought bravely through lupus and renal failure, surviving thanks to a living kidney donation 24 years ago, but cancer ultimately won her final battle. Born on December 19, 1959 she was a daughter of George and Dolores (Smith) Pappas. She graduated from Notre Dame High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in Dental Assisting from Northampton Community College She was employed most of her career as a Dental Assistant for Robert J. McAuliffe, DDS where she was much more than a colleague, becoming his and his wife’s, Gail, friend. Sharon was a light for every patient she met, offering kindness, compassion and touched many lives through her care. After retiring from 40 years of full-time work, she took part-time work with Nazareth Family Dental, Lincoln Chamberlain, DDS because she missed the patients that became her friends and supported her through her battles.

Sharon was a lifelong member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church. She also volunteered at the St. Francis Retreat House. She enjoyed crocheting items for family and friends and spent many hours watching I LOVE LUCY in addition to collecting I Love Lucy memorabilia. She was a doting and loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Sharon was the aunt that offered encouragement, guidance, and was usually the first to send a “happy birthday” text (often because she would intentionally do it the day before the birthday on purpose to be the first). Sharon had a knack for remembering dates, especially birthdays of family, friends and even celebrities.

The Queen of dad jokes before dad jokes were a thing, no one could elicit a forced laugh with an eye roll like Aunt Sharon Pysher.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her partner of 31 years, Joseph A. Duvo; sister, Kathy Rolek and her husband, Ken; Carol Bellis and her husband, Tom; Lori Boucher and her husband, Rick; Monica Tocci and her husband, Greg; brother, John Pappas and his wife, Diane; nephews, Kyle Rolek and his wife, Anita; Jarrett Pappas; Kory Rolek, his wife Megan, son Delcan and daughter Maeve; Andrew Bellis, his wife Emmalee, daughter Reinna and son Benjamin; Michael Boucher; Samuel Bellis; Jonathan Boucher; Matthew Tocci; nieces, Mordan Pappas and her husband, Shane Murphy; Jennifer Thompson, her husband, William and daughter Elliott; and Ashley Tocci and her fiancé Evan Jablonowski.
