Born : Shawn was born in Easton, PA, a son of William McAvoy and Cathy Copora.

Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Survivors: In addition to his parents, Shawn is survived by a sister Shannon McAvoy; a niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
