Sherwood W. Kale, 85, of Nazareth, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. Born on December 13, 1936, in Edleman he was a son of the late John and Alice (Koehler) Kale. He attended Pen Argyl High School. Sherwood joined the United States Airforce in 1956. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked as a steel worker for Taylor Wharton in Easton and later Patterson Kelly in East Stroudsburg.

Sherwood was a member of the NRA. As an avid outdoorsman he liked to spend his time hunting and fishing as often as he could. He spent his younger years taking many trips to fish and hunt in different states. His greatest enjoyment in life was to spend time with his family who he loved so dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia A. (Johnson) Kale; daughters, Leanne Kale and fiancé Kraig O'Connor of Bushkill Twp., Lori-Lynn Predmore and husband Allen of Wind Gap; grandchildren, Tara and husband Eric, Tyler, Alex, and Ryan; great grandchildren, Trey and Anthony.

In addition to his parents, Sherwood was predeceased by his sisters, Gladys, Irma, Jeanie, and Betty; brothers, Carl, Gerald, and Marvin.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.).
