Shirley Ann (Shafer) Galante, 83, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

Shirley was born in Wilson Boro., PA, a daughter of the late Alvin and Florence (Dornblaser) Shafer.

Shirley was married to Russell D. Galante until his passing in 2012. She was a floor Worker for Lincoln Avante in the garment industry, until retiring in 2002. Shirley was a member of First United Church of Christ in Easton, where she was a member of the choir and First Ladies Group. She was also a member of Morning Wobblers Bowling Team at Bar-Don Lanes, shuffleboard team member, and the Easton South Side Senior Center.

Shirley is survived by a step-son Russell Galante and wife Patricia of Whitehall; a step-daughter Bonnie Barber and husband Bruce of Bethlehem Twp.; a sister Mae Rapp of Forks Twp.; a brother Richard Shafer and wife Joan of Phillipsburg, NJ; grandchildren Jennifer Werkheiser, Matthew Barber, Kaitlyn Galante; great-grandchildren Amanda Werkheiser, Anthony Barber, Jonathan Barber; nieces Kerri Tolan and Rebecca Burmeister, and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers John, Robert, Charles, and Harold Shafer; and a brother-in-law Robert "Gary" Rapp.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
