Shirley J. Morrone of Easton, PA passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Manor Care in Easton, PA at the age of 94.

Shirley was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Harry Matlock and Alice M. (Baker) Petty.

Shirley was married to Michael Morrone, Sr., until his passing in 1971. She was the manager of John's Bargain Store in Easton, PA for many years and in later years, worked for Home Instead, caring for seniors in their homes.  She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels.  Shirley enjoyed helping people and spending time with her family.

Shirley was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Easton, and Wilson Borough Republican Club.

Shirley is survived by a son Michael Morrone Jr. and his wife Brenda of Northampton; daughters Margaret Hess of Allentown and Michelle and her husband Edmund Hoare of Easton, 4 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
