Raymond Bartolacci, Sr. passed away on February 2, 2015 at the age of 91 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Raymond was born in Corropoli province of Abruzzi, Italy, a son of the late Augusto and Elvira (Faragalli) Bartolacci. Raymond was married to the former Emily Rose Borgioni until her passing in 2004. He immigrated from Italy with his family at the age of five. Raymond began his career as the butcher in his small corner store in South Side Easton. With hard work and determination, he achieved the American Dream when his family retail business expanded into a publicly traded company known as Laneco Inc. Raymond was known for his dedication to his business and family. His legacy will live on through his cherished children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Raymond was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, located at 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton, PA. Raymond is survived by sons Raymond A. Bartolacci, Jr., and wife Maribeth of Jupiter, FL, Richard Bartolacci and wife Julene of Bethlehem Twp.; a daughter Rhonda Bartolacci of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Rane, Raymond III, Tiffany, Raylene, and Renessa; great-grandchildren Ella, Harley, Zachary, and Raymond IV; a brother Ralph Bartolacci of Upper Nyack, NY; and a sister Philomena Azzalina of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In addition to his wife, Raymond is preceded in death by his brothers Rivo, Guido Guy, and Anthony Bartolacci, and by his sister Augusta Piazza. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Saturday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Entombment will take place in the Bartolacci Mausoleum in Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions in Raymond's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
