William E. Bennett, Sr., 70, of Wilson Boro, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 in Easton Hospital.

William was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Donald J. and Elizabeth (Hank) Bennett.

William was married to Edna Jean Bennett with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage last January 21. He was a fork lift driver for Easton Iron and Metal for 40 years before retiring in 2005. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, taking walks on the canal, going to the casino, and he loved his dog Bean.

William was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by his sons William E. Bennett, Jr of Easton, Scott M. Bennett and wife Kimberly M. of Gilbert, PA; his daughters Kimberly A. Bennett of Easton, Meghan E. Bennett of Easton; a sister Anne Smith and husband Robert of Milford, NJ; a brother Donald J. Bennett, Jr. and wife Nancy of Easton; grandchildren Kristina M. Bennett, Chelsie Seaward, Rebecca Lampsona, Matthew Bennett, Melanie Bennett, Lilly B. Bennett, Enyus Cook and Jazmin Cook. He is preceded in death by a sister Grace Bennett; and a brother Lloyd Bubby Bennett.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown, PA.
