Obituary

Name: Angelo Bianco, Sr., of Easton, PA, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 in his home. Born: Angelo was born on May 19, 1929 in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of the late Carmine and Jennie (Stagnito) Bianco. Personal: Angelo worked as a Chemical Operator for JT Baker Chemical of Phillipsburg, retiring after 33 years of service. He served in the Army and Marines during World War II. He was named volunteer of the year at Holy Family Manor during his 11 years of service. Memberships: Angelo was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, lifetime memberships of the Order of Fleas, Wilson Democratic Association, and Military Order of Cooties. He was also a member of the Marine Corps League, Lester Pfeffer American Legion, Liberty Hose Co. #2, and the AmVets. Angelo was a VFW All-American Post Commander for Post 1290, and active in their Color Guard. Survivors: Angelo is survived by children Carmen and his wife MaryBeth of Williamsport, PA, Debra Bianco and her husband Terry Savercool of Easton, PA, Terry Bianco of New Jersey, Angelo Jr., and his wife Daria of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Lucy Honey, Caroline Marie Norris, Janette Hunara; brothers William and Thomas; grandchildren Andriana, Nicholas, Anthony, Domenica, Angelo III, and Gianni, a step-granddaugther Leeann; step-great-grandchildren Joseph and Sophia. He is also survived by a daughter Lurene Staahl. Angelo is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, the former Rosemarie Becky Basso who passed away in March 1999; sisters Nancy Wambold and Marion Bianco; brothers Phillip, Albert, James, and Frank Bianco. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and also Thursday from 10:45am to 11:45am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 12:30pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Street, Easton, PA. Interment will be at St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp., PA. Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Manor, 1200 Spring Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018
