Name: William A. Corriere, Sr., 93, of Palmer Twp., passed away on Sunday, April 29th in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, surrounded by his loving family. Born: William was born in Raubsville, a son of the late Paul and Santa Corriere. Personal: William was the beloved husband of 74 years to Dorothy E. Teel Corriere. He was the co-founder and President of Keystone Food Products, Inc., and had been in the snack food business for over 65 years. Bill was honored several times for his business success and received the Distinguished Citizen Award from the Sales and Marketing Executives of Easton. He enjoyed playing golf and pinochle. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, pilot and proud owner of PT19 and AT6 Aircrafts. Bill enjoyed working in his garden, canning, picking berries and making jelly. Memberships: Bill was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Easton. He was co-founder of the Bushkill Valley Motorcycle Club and a member of the Snack Food Association; Two Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce; the Y-3 Fishing Association; the Stockertown Rod & Gun Club; a lifetime member of the NRA, and others. Bill belonged to the Camp Fu Fu Hunting Club in Canadensis, PA. He received two citations from the House of Representatives, a Community Service Award from the Easton Area Schoolmens Association; a Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Coast Guard; an Appreciation Award from the Bicentennial Commission of Pennsylvania; an Honorary V.P. of the Old Colony Bank in Burlington, MA.; and a Citation of Appreciation from the American Legion, Brown & Lynch Post 9. He was presented with two Service Awards from the Palmer Township Athletic Association, where he served on the board for many years. Bill enjoyed many years of coaching football and baseball for the township. He and his brother Ford donated land to Palmer Township which forms the present day Keystone Park. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Bill is survived by his daughters Janet Corriere of Roseland NJ, Nancy Corriere of Easton, Sandra Mason of Albany, NY, Dorothy Jackson and her husband Tom of Nazareth; son William Corriere, Jr and his wife Ann Marie of Easton; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by brothers Louis and Ford; sisters Mary, Josephine, and Antoinette. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Thursday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in Hecktown Hope Cemetery.
