Carl J. the Cuv Cuvo, Sr., 87, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospice House. Carl was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Russell and Frances (Piscitello) Cuvo. Carl was married to the former Josephine Regina, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage last August 18. He served in the US Navy during WWII and the US Air force during the Korean War. He volunteered for decades at Easton Area High School football as assistant equipment manager. In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his sons Carl Joseph Cuvo Jr, and wife Maryann of Saylorsburg, Jim R. Cuvo and wife Kim of Bethlehem; a daughter Christine Merwarth and husband Donald of Easton; a sister Angelina Cuvo Bisco of Easton; 16 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
