Name: Carl F. Dicker, Sr. 82 of Palmer Twp. passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born: He was born on September 29, 1927 in Easton a son of the late Howard and Margaret Zemback Dicker. Personal: Carl and his wife, the former Eleanor Carpenter celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last October. He was employed as a printer at the former Mack Printing Co in Wilson Boro. retiring in 1986. Carl served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a graduate of Easton Catholic High School class of 1944. Memberships: Carl was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. where he served as Eucharistic Minister and as an altar server for funerals for many years. He also was a member of the St. Janes Breakfast Club and Forks of the Delaware Serra Club. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by sons Carl Dicker, Jr. and wife Deborah of Forks Twp., Howard Dicker of Pennsauken, NJ; daughters Lynn Dicker of Palmer Twp., Valerie Walk and companion Kenneth Steward of Bushkill Twp., PA, Carla Shultz and husband John of Verona, WI, Margaret Coffin and husband William of Williams Twp., Kyle DeMartyn and husband George of Enola, PA; sisters Dolores Cortright of Easton, Mary Werkheiser of East Stroudsburg; grandchildren Jennifer, Kati, Michelle, Kelly, Ashley, Matthew, Michael, George and great grandchildren Abigail, Aspen, Brady, Gwen and Logan. Services: Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm and Monday from 8:30am until 9:30am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am in the church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
