Joseph C. Marascio, Sr., of Easton, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 in New Eastwood Nursing Home. Joseph was born in Italy, a son of the late Onofrio and Rosina (Cosentino) Marascio. Joseph was married to the former Maria Farace, with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage last September 27. He was a Crane Operator for Lehigh Foundry, later called Victalic of America, before retiring in 1984. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Joseph was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and a life member of Easton Fish and Game Association. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Joseph Marascio and wife Linda of Pen Argyl; a daughter Dianne Hester and husband Kevin of Bangor; grandchildren Zachary Hester, Matthew Hester, Jessica Marascio; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 900 Washington Street, Easton, PA.
