Frank T. Miechur, Sr., 85, of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospice. Frank was born in Martins Creek, PA, a son of the late Adam and Sophie (Buczek) Miechur. Frank was married to the former Stella Ann Bobinis, before her passing in December 2014. He was a supervisor for Jersey Central Power and Light for 23years, and also Whippany Paper Mill in Durham, PA for 20 years in maintenance, before retiring in 1992. Frank was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1948. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Frank was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bath, PA. Frank is survived by his sons Frank T. Miechur, Jr and wife Josie of Nazareth, PA, Craig Miechur and wife Stella of Alpha, NJ, James Miechur of Nazareth, PA; a daughter Diane Turdo and husband Frank of Nazareth, PA; sisters Stella Sundy of Champlain, IL, Fran Hamlen of Annville, PA, Agnes Tobin of West Chester, PA; a brother Thomas Miechur of Chicago, IL; grandchildren Keith, Brad, Trisha, Jennifer, Brian, Matthew, and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by sisters Marion Supenis, Helen Rush; brothers Leon and Joseph Miechur. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
