Name: Anthony J. Pooch Panuccio, Sr., 76 of Palmer Twp. passed away Monday August 29, 2011 in his home surrounded by his family. Born: He was born on April 6, 1935 in Easton a son of the late Giuseppe and Maria DeMaria Panuccio. Personal: Anthony was employed as an electrician for Ingersoll Rand for 18 years and Panuccio Construction for many years. He was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1953. Anthony proudly served our country in the US Marines from 1953 until his honorable discharge as a Sgt First Class in 1956. Memberships: He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. Anthony was also a member of the Electricians Union, Safety First Fire Co and United Steel Workers of America Local 5503. Survivors: Anthony is survived by his sons Anthony J. Panuccio, Jr. and wife Jacqueline K. of Palmer Twp., David A. Panuccio, Sr. of Palmer Twp., Jeffrey S. Panuccio, companion Jan A. Robling and dog Mack of Palmer Twp., Mark T. Panuccio of Cincinnati, OH; sisters Josephine Smereczynsky of Williams Twp., Rose Selvaggio and companion Jake Hornung of Bethlehem Twp.; brothers Rocco Panuccio and wife Katie of Ackermansville, PA, Domenic Panuccio and companion Dottie Price of Bayonet Point, FL; grandchildren David A. Panuccio, Jr. of Lake Harmony, PA, Anthony James Panuccio of Palmer Twp., Kristopher D. Knight of CA, great grandson Tristen V. Knight of CA, dear friend Ruth Gilds of Bethlehem, caregiver Violet Tucker, of Easton, former spouse Carol S. Panuccio of Forks Twp and many nieces and nephews. A sister Maria Gugliuzza preceded Anthony in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday from 8:30am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
