Stanley F. Swiecicki, Jr., 93, of Saylorsburg, moved on from this world on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at home peacefully and surrounded by loved ones.

Stanley was born in Plains on May 18, 1928, he was a son of the late Sophie (Kowalski) and Stanley F. Swiecicki Sr.  After graduating from Plains High school in 1945, he enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. Stanley was a Corporal and a chauffeur to the General, stationed in Korea. After serving, he attended Wyoming Seminary, graduated from Kings College, and then attained his CPA. He was employed most of his career as an accountant for Westinghouse and later, Amerada Hess.

Stanley was a Scout Leader, then Master for the Boy Scouts pack 68. He volunteered at St. Francis Cabrini Church as the "Polish Pizza Chef" for Bingo nights. After his retirement, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post.  He volunteered his time to do taxes for AARP. Stanley was an avid reader and enjoyed Sudoku and Crosswords.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, of almost 69 years; Son: Stanley J. and wife Janet of Fleetwood; Daughters: Sharon Swartz of Virginia; Judith Yarka and husband Andrew McKane of Wilson; Grandchildren: Nicole Swartz, Lindsey Yarka, Joseph Yarka and wife Dana, Lindsey Koppenheffer and husband Alex; Great grandson, Bennet. He also leaves behind sisters: Genevieve Kazda and Dolores Zimich; A brother, Robert and wife Irmgard; and many loved nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Joseph; A sister: Maryann Baryla; A brother: Thomas; and sons in law: Rusty Swartz and Bill Yarka, Jr.

Calling hours will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) 18045. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at St. Jane's Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Township. Interment will be private.
