Stella Calandra, 100, of Easton, passed away on Thursday, August 2nd in Manor Care, Palmer Twp.

Born : Stella was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Dominick and Maria Fadero.

Personal: Stella was a co-proprietor of Mayfair Laundry Service in Los Angeles, CA., she later worked for Pomeroys of Easton, before retiring in 1976. She celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband in 1977.

Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Sodality, the Golden Age Club, and Catholic Daughters of America #358.

Survivors: Stella is survived by her sister Elizabeth Todaro of Easton; sister-in-law Carmella Fadero. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicola Calandra; five brothers and three sisters.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
