Name: Stephen D. Mott, 79 of Palmer Twp. passed away Friday July 16, 2010 in VNA Hospice House of St. Lukes, Bethlehem. Born: He was born on July 14, 1931 in Sayre, PA a son of the late Harry G. and Mary Kohler Mott. Personal: Stephen and his wife, the former Shirley J. Allen celebrated 58 years of marriage together. He was employed as the Principle of Vocational Technical School for 20 years retiring in 1987. Prior, he was employed as an elementary school teacher for 5 years. He served our country in the US Air Force from 1951-1954. Stephen earned his bachelors in Education degree from Mansfield College and his Masters in Education degree from Newark University. Memberships: Stephen was a member of St. Johns UCC Church of Farmersville. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his son Stephen L. and wife Helen Mott of Goodyear, AZ, his daughter Sheryl and husband Richard Palmateer of Charlottesville, VA, Sisters Doris Hurley, Alice Packard, Madeline Tillotson, a brother Harry Mott and grandchildren Heather, Shane and Elizabeth. A sister Peg Loomis preceded Stephen in death. Services: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in St. Johns UCC Church of Farmersville, 8065 William Penn Hwy. in Bethlehem Twp.
