Name: Stewart O. Hedden, 89 of Bethlehem Twp., passed away Wednesday February 8, 2012 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp. Born: He was born on September 19, 1922 in Easton, PA a son of the late C. Stewart Hedden and Mabel H. Hoadley Dutt. Personal: Stewart and his wife, the former Ann R. Montilone celebrated 62 years of marriage on January 19th. He was employed as an expeditor for Ingersoll Rand in the Cameron Pump Division retiring in 1983. Stewart proudly served our country in the US Navy during WWII for 6 years on the USS Indiana, he was a plank owner and the Korean Conflict for 17 months on the USS Ruff. Memberships: Stewart was of the Lutheran Faith. He was a member of the WWII Memorial in Washington, DC and served on the committee for the USS Indiana Reunion. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Stewart is survived by daughters Deborah A. Hedden Stone of Phillipsburg, NJ, Jill R. and husband Dominick J. Lutri, Jr. of Bath, PA; a sister Shirley Prugh of Bethlehem; grandchildren Brian C. Stone of Chester, VA, Darin M. Stone of Phillipsburg, NJ, Adam M. Lutri and wife Erica of Orefield, PA, Brett J. Lutri and girlfriend Wendy Fritz of Whitehall, PA, Erin M. Hartenstine and husband Anthony of Northampton, PA and great grandchildren Olivia Del Gallo Stone, Hugh Jackson Stone and Derek Matthew Stone. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9:00am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.
