Susan A. McCormick, 69, of Easton, passed away early on the 6th of October, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospice House. Born: Susan McCormick was born in Vernon, NJ in 1945 to the late Milton and Ethel Albert. Personal: Susan was a graduate of Vernon High School class of 1963. Susan also attended and graduated; class of '67 from the University of Denver, where she majored in Education and Religion. She worked several exciting careers over the years, including Educational Testing Services, Lutron Electronics, and a franchise Susan and her son opened and operated; Play It Again Sports in Easton, PA. Susan donated countless hours and supported several organizations; such as the American Cancer Society, Planned Parenthood, and the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, as well as many others. Susan enjoyed many hobbies and activities such as; photography, camping, and spending time with her friends. She was a wonderful mother, a great sister, a loving wife, and an amazing grandmother who especially enjoyed playing with her three beautiful grandchildren. Susan will be dearly missed by all of those that ever had the privilege to meet her. She was a friend and a mother to everyone that knew her. She will forever remain in our hearts and memories. And her legacy will continue through her family, her son and her three grandchildren. Survivors: Susan is survived by her son Scott Richardson, of Emmaus, her Sister Carol and her husband Peter Kopack and their children Shelly and Becky, of North Point, N.C., grandchildren; Julia, Orion and Carter Richardson, and their mother Jennifer Richardson. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by a loving husband, Craig McCormick who passed away in 1994. Services will be held in the Adirondack Mountains in the Spring of 2015 where her wish to join her husband will be granted.
