Suzanne Peel, 79, of Easton, formerly of Park Ridge, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Born in Englewood, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Williams) Sofio. She graduated from St. Cecillia High school and later earned her teaching degree from Fordham University. Suzanne worked for River Dell School District in Oradell, NJ where she taught English for middle and high school students for 33 years.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Park Ridge, NJ. Suzanne enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, especially the New York Times crossword puzzle every week. She also loved to read nonfiction books in her down time. Suzanne was a breath of fresh air, saw the good in everything every day, and truly appreciated life.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Peel, of Bloomfield, NJ; Adam Peel and his wife, Linda Christopher, of Grandview, NY; grandchildren, Cassie, Britni, and Katrina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Sofio.
