Teresa M. Harvilla, 87, of Palmer Twp., was called home on Friday, October 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Teresa was born in Hazelton, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Cassarella) Lyons.
Teresa was married to the love of her life Thomas Harvilla with whom she shared a fairytale type love until his passing in 1989. She was a seamstress for A&H Sportswear. Teresa also worked for Moravian Church Daycare in Palmer Twp., where she was greatly valued for her artistic nature in the classroom. She worked at McDonald's in Palmer Twp. for thirty years, where she consistently helped feed the homeless in her community. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with immense love. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, painting, woodworking, listening to country music, dancing, swimming and boating, including sailing her own sail boat named "Tommy".
Teresa was a dedicated member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and volunteered at St. Jane's Friary.
Teresa has taught unconditional love to her family and is survived by her daughters Marie Jean Nazzaro and husband Anthony of Tewksbury, MA, Deborah Ann Toth and husband William Sr., of Nazareth, PA, Kim Marie Siedt and husband Jonathan of Easton; a sister Patricia Seiwell and husband John of Hazleton; grandchildren Michael, Jeneine, Tanya, Jennifer, Billy; step-grandchildren Justin, Jeremy, Jason, Jordan; great-grandchildren Destiny, Mya, Adrianna, Carly, Brandon, Brianna, Emma, Mckaylah, Rhiley and Bryce; step- great grandchildren Madeline and Mason. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Rose Homa, and a brother Thomas Lyons, Sr.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
