Thelma E. Spaziani, 97, of Easton, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ on November 16, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas R. and Anna M. (Greene) Schein. Thelma graduated from Easton Catholic High School. She was an administrative supervisor for the clerical Department of Public Assistance for 40 years.

Thelma was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and could always be found with a good hardcover book in her lap. She kept herself busy with crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Thelma enjoyed listening to music, Frank Sinatra, John Denver and big band songs could always be heard throughout the house. She loved animals, especially cats.

Thelma is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, John A. Spaziani; daughters, Cheryl Buttaro of Pottstown; Jill Spaziani of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Joseph J. Cutrona, Jade Cutrona, and Rachel Buttaro. She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Madeline Templeton; brothers, Kenneth, Jack, and Regis Schein; and son in law, David Buttaro.

A calling hour will be held Monday, December 11, 2023, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a brief funeral service at 11:00 am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton PA (Palmer Twp.) Entombment will be private at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Easton.
