Theresa M. Amato, 93, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in Northampton Village.

Born : Theresa was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Santo and Epifania (Andreano) Salamone.

Personal: Theresa was married to the late Placido Peter Amato. She was a Beautician for the former Laubachs Department store and the former Hess Brothers Department store.

Memberships: Theresa was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the Golden Age Club.

Survivors: Theresa is survived by her daughters Patricia F. Amato of Oregon, Marie and husband James and son Joseph Kertsmar of Bath, PA; brother Santo Salamone of Valencia, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and sisters: Mary Mazza, Rose Piazza, Michael Salamone, Josephine LaBarba, Lucy Salamone, Placido Salamone, and Anthony Salamone.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and also on Monday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
