Theresa Castronuovo, 87, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Easton Hospital.

Theresa was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Dovi) Milia.

Theresa was married to Joseph P. Castronuovo for 59 years until his passing in 2014. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Theresa attended Phillipsburg High School and Empire Beauty School many years ago. She was a hairdresser, and later a cashier for Laneco for 38 years until retiring in 1996.

She enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas, Florida and Atlantic City with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, watching Jeopardy and following Philadelphia professional sports teams.

Theresa will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Theresa is survived by a daughter Jo-Marie Castronuovo of Palmer Twp.; a son Anthony Castronuovo of Palmer Twp.; sisters Carmela Critelli and husband Henry of Palmer Twp., Anna DeRaymond and husband Russell of Easton; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Franco, and a brother Salvatore Milia.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
