Thomas Angst, 96, of Easton, PA passed away on Oct. 6 with family by his side. He was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, to the late Ralph and Evelyn Lloyd Angst.  Tom was a graduate of Phillipsburg H.S, class of 1946; and a Veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired after 24 years from the Coke Plant at Bethlehem Steel.

A lifelong student of electronics, Tom could always be found tinkering on a project in his basement. Tom had many hobbies and talents, including weightlifting, reading and puzzle solving. His gift for drawing and painting was especially noteworthy. The fact that he was colorblind made his artistry even more remarkable and influenced his children to follow their own creative paths.

A consummate Penn State football fan, he proudly cheered on the Nittany Lions every season. He also enjoyed attending Phillipsburg High School football games and visiting his favorite diners with his family, where no meal was complete without a slice of pie. Tom lived a life defined by faith and family. He found joy in the simple moments shared with those he loved. His gentle spirit, humor and steadfast nature will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Tom was preceded in death by Betty, his beloved wife of nearly 50 years until her passing in 2010; brother, Barry Angst, and sister Muriel Van Horn.

He is survived by his daughters, Melody Angst of Easton, Tammy Mackiewicz and husband Jeff of Whitehall, son, Kyle Angst of Easton; and sister Eileen Brusadin and husband Ron of Columbus, OH; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, as well as their many children and grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
