Thomas M. Karp, 74, of Bethlehem Township, passed away on Saturday, April 02, 2022, at his home.

Born in Easton on September 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Volkert) Karp. He graduated from Notre Dame High School and later earned his bachelor's degree in education from Kutztown College. He taught for the Easton Area School District at Porter Elementary School and Easton Area Middle School.

In his youth he was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Tom was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane (Nagy) Karp; son, Michael T. Karp, at home; daughter, Meaghan E. Trout and husband Eric, Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren, Alyson, Nathan, and Lucy; sisters, Judy Karp, Easton; Barbara Frattini, Surfside Beach, South Carolina.

Calling hours will be on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) 18045, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's New Cemetery, Easton.
