Thomas A. "Albey" Perruso, Sr.

Thomas A. “Albey” Perruso Sr., 95, of Easton, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born on December 3, 1930 in West Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas C. and Mary (Strohler) Perruso.

Albey graduated from Wilson High School in 1949, where he was the co-captain of the first and only undefeated, untied Wilson High School football team in 1948. He then proudly served in the United States Navy as Sergeant First Class during the Korean War. Following his service, he earned an Associate’s Degree from Warren Technical School and went on to work as a project engineer and retired as the facility manager at Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg, NJ.

He also belonged to many organizations including the Varsity W Club of Wilson High School, the Wilson Boro Republican Club, the American Legion Brown and Lynch Post 9, and the Wilson Boro Lions Club where he held the title of office president, secretary, treasurer, and member of the board of directors during his membership. For leisure, Albey was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed doing both of these pastimes with his sons, grandsons, and best friends.

Albey is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Jean (Herb) Perruso; sons, Thomas A. Perruso Jr. and his wife Monica of Palmer Township, David B. Perruso of Palmer Township, Randy J. Perruso Sr. and his wife Jamie of Wilson Borough; brother David Perruso of Wilson Borough; grandchildren Carrie, Kelsey, Randy Jr., Todd, and Pedro; and great-grandchildren Thomas, Cameron, Joseph, Jordan, and Gianna.

In addition to his parents, Albey was predeceased by his sister Teresa Sabatino, and brothers Dominick “Donk” Perruso and Michael “Mike” Perruso.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM in the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Easton, PA.
