Vera I. Giorgione, 85, of Palmer Twp, PA passed away peacefully at her home, in Palmer twp. surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday August 6, 2015. Vera was born in Beltiglio, Italy, a daughter to the late Emilio and Antonia Mazzeo Porcaro. Vera was married to Antonio Giorgione , with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage, on June 24th. She worked many years as a seamstress at the former Northampton Pants Company. Vera was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, in Easton. In addition to her husband, Vera is survived by two sons: Frank P. Giorgione and his wife Cheryl, of Bethlehem Twp., and Anthony R. Giorgione and his companion Rosemarie Casciole, of Wilson Borough; daughter Gizelle I. Nicholson and her husband James, of Bethlehem Twp; a sister Ada Manno of Wilson Borough; and four grandchildren Michelle, Arielle, Cole, and Jessica. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton ( Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
