Vincent L. Callanan, 88, of Easton, PA, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 in Old Orchard Manor Care.

Vincent was born in Phillipsburg, NJ a son of the late George and Genevieve (Hurley) Callanan.

Vincent was married to the former Rose Marie Blasco for 63 years. He was a Draftsman for the former Dixie Cup Corp, then Ingersoll Rand, SI Handling and lastly Bell & Howell. He was a graduate of Philipsburg Catholic High School, class of 1948. Vincent served the US Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed golfing for many years, coached basketball at St. Janes and was a diehard Notre Dame Fighting Irish Fan.

Vincent was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Union Council 345, Pope Pius XII Assembly, West Easton Safety First Fire Co., and the Wilson Borough Republican Club.

In addition to his wife, Vincent is survived by his sons Vincent Callanan and wife Mary Ellen, Michael J. Callanan and his wife Cheryl, daughters Colleen Hunsicker and husband Brad, Debra Young and husband Jeff; grandchildren Danny, Amanda, Shelby, Jeffrey, Erin, Tim, Patrick, Rachel, Scott, Katelyn; great-grandchildren Emma, Maverick, Leah, and Bradley; nephews Anthony and Rev. Joseph Marina. He is preceded in death by a son George A. Callanan, and a sister Eileen Marina.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1:30 pm in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
