Obituary

Virginia S. Mitman, 93, of Forks Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hecktown Oaks Campus, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 1, 1930 in Easton, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Francesco and Sebastiana (Lisinnichia) Ciofalo. She graduated from Easton High School, class of 1948. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, in Easton, PA.

Virginia was a dedicated homemaker for her family. She was a wonderful caring mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering her love and support. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchild and great grandchild. She also enjoyed cooking and playing card games with her grandchild and family. Loved going to Atlantic city with her husband and sister.

Virginia is survived by her sons: Keith and Wayne Mitman of Easton, PA. a grandchild Jenna Mitman, and a great grandchild Jeremiah Gonzalez.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert H. Mitman who passed in 1996. She had four brothers Sam and wife Kit Ciofalo, Tony and wife Marie Ciofalo, John and wife Vi Ciofalo, Joe and wife Margaret Ciofalo, and two sisters Marie and husband Frank Kobellas, Anne and husband Charlie Fossburg.

A Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's Cemetery, in Williams Twp., Pa. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc. in 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
