Obituary

Virginia Ginny M. Roscioli, 81 of Wilson Boro., passed away Thursday October 3, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born:She was born on May 31, 1932 in Easton, a daughter of the late Edward G. and Marion C. Trimble Hodge. Personal: Ginny and her husband, Vincent Jim Roscioli would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on October 28th. She was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1950. Ginny was a truly remarkable woman with many talents. She was an accomplished seamstress who found enormous joy in meticulously crafting christening outfits as heirlooms for her grandchildren. She also made wedding gowns, first communion dresses and many special occasion outfits throughout the years. Ginny enjoyed tending the beautiful gardens that surrounded their home and loved the times when family gathered there for Sunday morning donuts or holiday celebrations. Her large, loving family was a source of pride she shared with the love of her life, Jim. Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton where she served as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and participated in the parish retreat program. Ginny also devoted a lot of her time to the Diocesan Marriage Preparation Program and Marriage Encounter for many years. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Ginny is survived by her 16 children, Christine and Dino Piccini, Vincent Roscioli III, Diane and Steven Loomis, Patrice and Arthur (d) Banghart, Michael and Tamara Roscioli, Lenore and Mark Walton, Elaine and Charles Crivellaro, Jerome Roscioli, Adele and Andrew Barnes, Odette and Stephen Hanni, Gregory and Lynn Roscioli, Francis and Michele Roscioli, Terese and Robert Perez, Kenneth and Ellen Roscioli, Steven and Tina Roscioli, and Rachele Lemon. Ginny is also survived by a sister, Aileen Bowman, 46 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her half-brother William Hodge preceded Ginny in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and Monday morning from 8:15am until 9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
