Name: Vito Joseph Cerino, 94 of Palmer Twp., PA passed away Saturday December 5, 2009 in his home surrounded by his family. Born: He was born on December 29, 1914 in Roseto, PA a son of the late Guiseppe and Maria Guiseppa Carrescia Cerino. Personal: Vito was preceded in death by his wife the former Clara Orlando in 2006. He was employed as a lathe operator for the former Ingersoll Rand retiring in 1977. Vito served our country in the US Navy as a Seabee during WWII. He was an avid Bowler and Golfer and fan of the Yankees and Easton Wrestling. Memberships: Vito was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. He also was a member of the Order of Fleas, Grasshoppers Golf Club, Knights of Columbus and the Boy Scouts. Survivors: Vito is survived by his son Frank Cerino of Palmer Twp; his daughter Marianne Sigman and husband Gary of Palmer Twp; a sister Katherine Cuono of Pen Argyl, PA; brothers Carl Cerino of Bangor, Leonard and Nunzio Cerino of Florida; grandchildren Justin Cerino, Cory Cerino, Willie Saylor, Krysta Febbo and husband John IV, Gara Sigman Bryant, Megan Sigman Curtis and husband Daniel; great grandchildren Kaitlynn Febbo, John Febbo V, Micah Curtis and many loving nieces and nephews. Brothers Anthony, Michael, Philip, Guss and Joseph Jr. preceded Vito in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Thursday from 8:15am until 9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
