Wilbur Orville Wright, 86, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away Wednesday June 18, 2014 in St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. Born: Wilbur was born in Wilkes Barre, PA and is the son of the late Richard and Rhoda (Tellum) Wright. Personal: Wilbur joined the United States Navy in 1945 and was honorably discharged in 1954, he served in WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Citizens Hose and the Fleas Club. Preceded: He was preceded in death by his loving wife Teresa (Harkins) Wright, and a sister Ethel Schooley, and four brothers: Clifford, Marvin, Howard, and Calvin Wright. Survivors: Wilbur is survived by his two Daughters: Joan Webber and her husband Tom, of Northampton, PA and Karen Tita, of Wilson Boro.; four sons: Donald Wright and his wife Robin, of Palmer Township, Robert Wright of Bethlehem Township, Thomas Wright, of Bethlehem Twp., and William Wright and his wife Vicki, of Moore Twp.; a sister Marion Miller, of Hunlocks Creek; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services: Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). An additional viewing will be held on Monday June 23, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.).
