Wilhelmina Rovers, 79, of Palmer Twp., passed away Sunday, March 13th, in her home. Born: Wilhelmina was born on July 15, 1931 in Haarlem, Netherlands, a daughter of the late Fransiscus Antonius and Hendrika Beukers Rovers. Personal: Wilhelmina was a Purchasing Agent for Thermoplastics in Warren, NJ, retiring in 1988. She was an avid collector of Rocks and Minerals and thoroughly enjoyed Tennis. The big loves of her life were her grandchildren, her dog Toto and listening to opera music. A very special thank you goes to the staff of St. Lukes Hospice, especially Nicole. Memberships: Wilhelmina was a member of the U.S. Zoological Society, the New York Metropolitan Opera National Council, and the Smithsonian. Survivors: Wilhelmina is survived by her daughters Marion Rauber of Palmer Twp., Linda Maria Mordhorst of Kampen, Netherlands, Louise Takacs of Hacketstown, NJ.; sister Nelly C. Rovers of Zandvoort, Netherlands; and grandchildren Melissa, Nathan, Fabienne, Sasha, Simone, Chelsea, Kristopher, and Erin. She is preceded in death by her brothers Frans Rovers, and Jan Dirk Rovers. Services: Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8 pm in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). Interment of Wilheminas ashes will be private.
