William (Bill) R. Hanna, 61, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus.

Bill was born in Flemington, NJ, a son of the late George W. and Gertrude (Miller) Hanna.

Bill was married to the former Susan C. Higgins, with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage last May. He was a Postmaster in Stewartsville, NJ; a circulation Manager for the Express Times; drove an Easton Coach bus for Medical Needs patients; and lastly worked the production line for FreshPet. Bill was a family man who put his children and grandchildren first. He was a fan of the Phillies, enjoyed bowling in leagues at Bar-Don Lanes, was passionate of local racing, and was a writer for Area Auto Racing News in New Jersey.

Bill was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, a founding member of ARRA (Auto Racing Research Association), and the founder of Flemington Speedway Historical Society.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a son Kyle Hanna of Fountain Hill; his daughters Kimberly S. Hanna of Greenbelt, MD, Megan Campbell and husband Kristofer of Northampton; a sister Barbara Hanna of Flemington, NJ; a brother Lawrence Hanna of Flemington, NJ; grandchildren Everleigh and Merrick Campbell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Lois Hanna; and a brother George Hanna Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
