William A. Pados, 82, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Manor Care, in Palmer twp. William was born August 12, 1934 in Frenchtown, NJ, a son of the late Steven and Barbara (Simon) Pados. He was a graduate of Wilson High School, and won the 1954 State Championship in the long jump. William served in the US Army. He enjoyed over 30 years with his loving companion Kathleen Svanda of Bethlehem. He owned and operated Bushkill Auto Repair for 60 years in Forks Township. He also enjoyed many years of auto racing as both a driver in the 1950s and later as mechanic with his family in 1980s. William was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and belonged to the association of veterans Battle of the Bulge
