Wilson Venant, 50, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus. Born in Port au Prince, Haiti, he was a son of Paul Venant and Edith (Belizaire) Fonrose and her husband, Fresnel.

Wilson graduated from high school and earned several certificates in HVAC. He worked for several different HVAC companies and cable companies as a technician. He loved to listen to music. Wilson enjoyed taking long rides on his motorcycle on nice days and going to the shooting range. He was a very handy man and loved to rebuild and fix cars.

Wilson is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Joanne (DeFreese) Venant; daughter, Alicia Venant; sister, Marie Carmel Fonrose; brothers, Eddy Fonrose, Fritzner Fonrose, Rigal St. Lot, and Frantsy Fonrose.
