Joan K. Piovesan, 81, of Palmer Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Easton on November 2, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Fannie (Vulcano) Mineo.

Joan graduated from Easton High School. She worked as a clerk at Easton Hospital for 25 years. After retiring, she enjoyed working at the Nazareth Wegmans and attending the YMCA in Easton, where she made many good friends. She loved traveling, and her biggest joy was her 3 grandchildren and grand dog Lucy. Joan was an excellent cook and loved making meals for her family. She had a green thumb: growing herbs, vegetables and beautiful flowers, and an array of house plants. Joan enjoyed swimming at the Palmer Pool and kayaking at Mauch Chunk Lake with her family. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Gary J. Piovesan; daughters, Tammy McHugh and her husband, Mark; Susan Arnold and her husband, Roger; grandchildren, Andrew McHugh, Cate McHugh, and Samuel Arnold; a brother, James Mineo and his wife, Carole. Sister In-law Lorraine, wife of Bill Mineo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Mineo.
