Richard J. Diaz, 57, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus. Born on December 28, 1967 in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Milton R. and Marie C. (Guzzi) Diaz.

He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1985 and earned his certifications in automotive repair from Northampton Community College. He was employed as an automotive mechanic, service advisor and appraiser. Richard was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. He was a NY Giants fan who never missed watching a game. When football season was done, he enjoyed watching NASCAR with his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his sister, Sandra Reiss and husband, Robert of Palmer Twp.; nephew, Matthew Reiss; niece, Dana Reiss and fiancé, William Szimanski.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
