John A. Morello
F.D. Owner, Supervisor
John received his Funeral Directors license in 1991 after completing the funeral service program at Northampton County Community College, Bethlehem. He previously earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Education- physical sciences and earth and space sciences from Kutztown University in 1988. John is the owner and supervisor of the funeral home which his family has owned and operated since 1955. John's involvement with the funeral home stems back to 1979 when he assisted his father and mother, Sonny and Marion Morello in many aspects of the business. He is a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. John served in numerous offices for civic organizations throughout the Easton area. John and his wife Michele reside in Palmer Twp.

Jillian McNally-Morello, MBA
Co-Owner, Business Administrator
Jillian represents the third generation of the Morello Funeral Home family, stepping into the family legacy as a Business Administrator and future proprietor. Her journey began after graduating from Easton Area High School in 2015.
Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Jillian attained her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Penn State University in 2019, accompanied by a minor in Business Law. Furthering her education, she earned a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2022.
Jillian's professional path led her to Florida, where she and her husband Kyle resided for five years. During this time, Jillian contributed her expertise to The Walt Disney Company, serving as a Guest Experience Manager and Project Specialist.
Roots tugged at their hearts, bringing Jillian and Kyle back to their hometown of Easton, Pennsylvania. They now call Palmer Township home, reconnecting with their Lehigh Valley community.

Hope S. Newell
F.D., Mgr.
Hope S. Newell is a dedicated, compassionate and creative Funeral Director with a background in nursing and a long-standing commitment to service in our community, particularly helping those in need. She is an energetic and passionate life juggler known for her contagious smile, compassion, and boundless energy in everything she does. Hope is a talented professional who helps individuals and families work through the emotional transitions of life with a unique and customized experience. Hope’s broad background enables her to readily connect with people and she is proud of her long-lasting relationships with her clients.
Hope was born in the Poconos and is one of 8 children. She was raised in Nazareth and is an alumna of Nazareth Area High School. After high school, Hope pursued a career in nursing and then chose to obtain her Associates Degree in Small Business Management and completing the Funeral Service program from Northampton Community College.
Hope started her career in Funeral Service as a funeral associate in 2007 at a Funeral Home, in Stroudsburg, and quickly advanced there because she sought out improvements to greater serve the community. Looking to build upon her experience, Hope obtained her Notary and Insurance licenses to provide advance planning services and joined Morello Funeral Home in 2014 to be the key leader of our group of professionals that care deeply about their clients.
Hope has been with Morello Funeral Home for 10 years. Hope received her crematory operator license to offer additional options to clients. During her time here she has leveraged her strengths of listening, compassion and connecting with individuals and families to build memorable and healing service experiences while honoring those lives who have graced us with their presence.
Hope is a member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, and is on the board of the Eastern Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association. She is happily married and has two children. The newest addition to the family is a Labrador Retriever, which Hope has been training to be a service dog. Hope enjoys a wide variety of active sports and outdoor activities such as running, swimming, biking, and fitness classes. She is an active mom with her children’s sports and their interests which always take priority over her own interests and Hope enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing at the beach and visiting lighthouses!

Hope takes pride and joy in knowing that she can help families through a difficult time and feels that her ability to show empathy and support during this most difficult time in ones life is a true honor that she holds near and dear to her heart.

Sara L. Repp
F.D.
Sara L. Repp graduated from Stroudsburg High School in 2009. She is a graduate of Northampton Community College where she earned her degree in Mortuary Science in 2017. She is a caring and compassionate licensed funeral director. Sara came back to the Poconos in 2022 after working in the Luzerne County area for 4 years. Outside of work she enjoys reading a good book and spending time with family and friends.
